HEADON FOREST, Burlington Real Estate 350
Headon Forest-A great family neighbourhood mostly single family homes on moderate sized lots. This area bordered between Upper Middle Road and Dundas Street, and Walkers Line and Guelph Line was one of the largest developments in Burlington north of the QEW hi-way during the 1980's and finally offered Burlingtonians "modern features" in homes. The majority of homes would offer 4 bedrooms with large master bedrooms with walk-in closets, full ensuites, main floor family rooms and 2 car garages. The multitude of brick colours gave the area a distinctive character unique to the area, many homes would be situated on the new accepted lot size ranging from 40 to 50" wide to 70 to 90’ deep setting the norm for future developers. The community has started to have a mature look with trees and home owner landscaping showing years of growth. Homes currently for sale tend to be either renovated and demanding the higher range of value as compared to the homes still offering original Builder upgrades. Detached homes range from $400,000 to $650,000, Townhouse and mid size Condominiums can be purchased under $300,000. A full transit service provides residents the ability to live and work without depending on the use of a car, many shopping and services are within walking distance.
